Want to speak like a true wine critic? Here are some of the words in the wine dictionary you need to know! Let me help you break down some of the phrases used in the "wine world" in an easy way!
PAIRING
When wine meets food and creates something great.
BUBBLY
Sparkling wine.
WINE
Made from fermented grapes.
ACIDIC
Usually spotted when the mouth starts to salivate.
WHITE OR RED WINE
The major groups of wine.
DRY
A wine that is not sweet.
PINK
What I would call; the "influencer" of wines. It's not a wine darling but more of a lifestyle!
Formally known as a Rosè.
OAK
The process takes for the wine to age in oak barrels. That gives the wine a smokey or vanilla flavour.
